I've always wondered why Ralph Lauren products are so expensive. I understand that wearing the brand is sometimes interpreted as a sign of status but when these same items end up at TJMaxx or second-hand stores, you would think that some of the attraction may have worn off. Such is the case with Annabelle. Having purchased her polo at the local Salvation Army outlet, she proceeds to soil it with a mixture of condiments while eating her Burger King combo meal. Completely oblivious to the desecration, she then lashes out at her old man because she thinks he smoked the last Swisher Sweet in their motel room.
